Writ Large Press

Finally, after much work, Writ Large Press is here!

Judeth and I have been editing, designing, scrounging up pennies to invest in our endeavor ever since we started wrapping up Wednesday. And at the beginning of May 2008, in an unforgettably hot night of partying and reading, we launched the Writ Large with the release of our first title, Kim Calder’s who’s to say what’s home.

Our upcoming writers:

Writ Large Mission

With 2 to 4 of the very best books published each year, Writ Large Press plans to peel the cover off of the unstoppable creative collective that is the Los Angeles literati, pulling the writers out from the shadow of the Hollywood sign and into the international spotlight.

Novels. Poems. Short stories. Memoirs. Essays. Plays. Journals. Songs. Theories. Opinions. Doodles.

Writing is writing.

So go and check out the website. We will post news, updates, and event announcements. Plus sample writings, books for sale, and all kinds of genius.

And put down a few bucks at our store.
